Rev. Wayne Glass and Rev. John Mitchell officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. McWaters died on Friday, May 6, 2005, at 2 a.m., at Princeton Health Care Manor of natural causes.
Mrs. McWaters was born on June 30, 1919, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Watt and Serona Vanzant Lancaster.
Mrs. McWaters was retired from Elk Brand Manufacturing; was a homemaker; and was a member of Ponderosa Baptist Church. She was also a former Sunday School teacher at Liberty Point Baptist Church for eight years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Velma Braboy; four brothers, Augustine Lancaster, Frank Lancaster, Lonzo Lancaster, and Othel Lancaster; and three sisters, Laddie Michaels, Myra Noel, and Laddus Peck.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ovid McWaters of Cadiz; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Music was provided by Suellen Hendricks, pianist, and Ponderosa Baptist Church Choir.
Serving as pallbearers were Gary Oakley, Vance Oakley, Tommy Litchfield, Gary Litchfield, John Allen, and George Colley.
