She was a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a homemaker, violinist and pianist. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Beacon.
Surviving are a son, David Wood of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; a daughter, Dianne Thomas of Cadiz; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Elton Wood, and a brother. Her parents were Harvey Barlow and Charlotte Sutton Barlow.
Memorial services were conducted later at Fairview Cemetery in Beacon.
