Rev. C. E. Timberlake officiated at the services. Burial followed in Patterson Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Lewis died on Saturday, June 11, 2005, at Trigg County Hospital, at 6:15 p.m. of natural causes.
Mr. Lewis was born on February 27, 1970, in Harvey, Ill. He was the son of Lillie Browder Lewis of Phoenix, Ill., and the late William Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was physically disabled.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, are a son, Donald Redd Lewis, Jr., of Harvey, Ill.; three brothers, Raymond Lewis of Park Forest, Ill., Sidney Lewis of Hazel Park, Ill., and Calvin Lewis of Phoenix, Ill.; a sister, Kathryn Lewis of Harvey, Ill.; fiancée, Rosita Phillips of Harvey, Ill.; two uncles, John Browder of Cadiz, and Archie Patterson of Phoenix, Ill.; and one aunt, Catherine Bozeman of St. Louis, Mo.
