McCraws celebrate 50 years

Bill and Marci McCraw of Cadiz will celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday, June 26, 2005, with an Open House, hosted by their children, from 2-4 p.m., at the Cadiz Baptist Church.

The couple was married at the First Baptist Church in Lansing, Ill., on June 25, 1955. Maid of Honor was Phyllis Hocott, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Pat Davis and Judy Partner.

The groom’s attendants were Marve Lizinger and Frank McCraw, brother of the groom.

The couple honeymooned in the Washington, D.C. and Roanoke, Va. area, and the Smokey Mountains.

The bride’s parents were the late Alice and Ben Hocott of Lansing, Ill.

The groom’s parents were the late Dan and Hazel McCraw of Cadiz.

The couple has five children, Scott McCraw, Jeff McCraw, Dean McCraw, Darren McCraw, and Tim Maynard.

All friends and fellow church members are invited to attend and help celebrate this Golden Anniversary.

The couple requests no gifts, just come and enjoy the fellowship.
