Rev. John Hagen officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Fort Donelson Cemetery in Dover, Tenn.
Mrs. Edwards died on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at 1:24 p.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Mrs. Edwards was born on July 18, 1933. She was the daughter of Samuel Dell, Sr., and Tylene Mitchell Freeman.
Mrs. Edwards was a retired secretary; and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Hubert R. Edwards, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Dell, Jr., and Rose Freeman of Cadiz; two stepsons, Danny Edwards of Tampa, Fla., and Larry Edwards of Springdale, Ark.; nephews, Dell Freeman, III, and Smith T. Freeman; and nieces, Carla Freeman Jones, and Susan Oliver.
Serving as pallbearers were Larry Edwards, Billy Freeman, Dell Freeman, III, Smith Freeman, Jackie Oliver, and Nathan Jones.
Honorary pallbearers were Martha Ledford, Mary Lou McReynolds, Danny Edwards, and Billy McReynolds.
