Rev. Terry Mitcheson officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.
Mr. McCormick died on Saturday, June 25, 2005, at 6:30 p.m., on I-40 W. White Bridge Road in Nashville, Tenn., from injuries received in an accident in Nashville.
Mr. McCormick was born on November 25, 1951, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Morris H. and Loretta Isabelle Keene McCormick.
Mr. McCormick was employed with Kerr Bros. & Associates, Inc. Construction Company; and was a member of Tullahoma Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Lynn McCormick of Kansas; a special friend, Kay Balwin of Manchester, Tenn.; two brothers, James McCormick of Rice, Va., and Morris H. McCormick, Jr., of Athens, Tenn.; two sisters, Gladys Jean Walker of Jackson, Tenn., and Alice Ann Wynn of Cadiz; an uncle, Eugene McCormick of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were J.T. Francis, Shannon Wynn, David Wynn, Jamey McCormick, Kerry Hendricks, Kevin Carter, and Joshua Lynn.
Music was provided by Martha Fortner, organist.
