TCHS athletic director Taylor Sparks said Meacham submitted his resignation after taking a director’s position at the YMCA in Hopkinsville, where he lived.
“We’re sorry to see him go. He was really dedicated to the program and did a good job for our program,” he said.
Meacham, a Hopkinsville High School graduate, guided the Lady Wildcats to a 9-17 record in his only season at the helm.
Trigg got off to a slow start, losing their first seven games, before rebounding to win five of nine at one stretch in the season.
Trigg County advanced to the semifinals of the Fifth District Tournament before losing to Lyon County.
Sparks said the job would be posted for interested persons.
Meacham was unavailable for comment.
