The bride is the daughter of Karle and Leena Johnson of Cerulean, Ky. She is employed as a Captain in the US Army and serves as the Chief of Pharmacy at Mannheim Health Clinic in Mannheim, Germany.
The bridegroom is the son of Bill and Kathy Weber of Salvisa, Ky. He is a member of the Kentucky National Guard and is employed by AFEES, Mannheim, Germany.
THE CEREMONY: The Rev. Joseph Newton from Louisville officiated. Nuptial music was provided by Leslie Walker and bridegroom’s father Bill Weber.
THE BRIDE: The bride’s dress was an a-line, satin, ivory, halter dress with a sweeping train. She carried a bouquet of white tulips and blue irises.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, was escorted by her father from the upper level of the mansion to the music room.
The ring bearers were Kaylee and Madison Whitenack, daughters of the bridegroom carried baskets with little satin boxes containing the wedding rings. The flower girl was Ashlee Johnson, niece of the bride, carried a basket of rose petals.
Elizabeth Johnson, sister-in-law of the bride, served as guest book and gift attendant.
THE RECEPTION: Following the ceremony the groom’s relatives hosted a reception held in the music room of Berry Hill Mansion. The room was decorated with candles and tulips placed in flower pots hand painted by the bride, her mother, and various friends. Dance music was provided by disk jockey Mark Greenwell.
Following a trip to Barcelona, Spain, the couple resides in Ladenburg, Germany.
PRENUPTIAL EVENTS: A bridal shower was given by Captain Mae Hemphill in her home in Heppenheim, Germany. A bridal shower given by Dr. Tracey Beasley, at her home in Mount Sterling, Ky.
