Funeral services for Ora McGowan Cox, 59, of Princeton, were conducted on Monday, August 15, 2005, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Shalmon Radford, Rev. John E. White, and others officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Cox died on Thursday, August 11, 2005, at 7:42 a.m., at her home following a short illness.

Mrs. Cox was born on October 30, 1945, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Myrtle Rascoe Wilson.

Mrs. Cox was a Certified Medical Technician, and a member of Harrison Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Cox; two sons, Derrick McGowan of Eddyville, and Waynee McGowan of Princeton; two daughters, Deridre Harris of Princeton, and Tonya Kaplan of San Antonia, Texas; a step-daughter, Tamara Cox of Princeton; four brothers, Morris Wilson of Indianapolis, Ind., Jesse Wilson, and Tommy Wilson both of Cerulean, and Cecil Wilson of Cadiz; two sisters, Agnes Radford of Cadiz, and Lorene Radford of Cerulean.
