Funeral services for Eva Mae Davis, 74, of Cadiz, formerly of Freelandville, Ind., will be conducted on Thursday, September 1, 2005, at 11 a.m., at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, Ky.

Rev. Marshall Fortner will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.

Mrs. Davis died on Sunday, August 28, 2005, at 5:57 p.m., at Freelandville Community Home.

Mrs. Davis was born on June 4, 1931, in Muhlenburg County. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ruth Browning Reeves.

Mrs. Davis worked at General Electric for 20 years, six years at Peabody Coal, and three years for the Army Corp of Engineers, and she was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church in Greenville.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Cecil Ray Davis; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Dan Kixmiller, and Wilma and Fred Robbins, all of Freelandville, Ind.; grandchildren, Clint and Suzanne Kixmiller of Washington, Ind., Casey Robbins, and Jesse Robbins, both of Freelandville, Ind.; one brother; and two sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Reeves.

Memorial contributions may be made to Freelandville Community Home.

Arrangements were made by McClure-Utt Funeral Home in Bicknell, Ind.
