Rev. Kent Workman officiated at the services.
Mr. Litchfield died on Wednesday, August 24, 2005, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, of natural causes.
Mr. Litchfield was born on July 23, 1938, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late William and Flocie Dixon Litchfield.
Mr. Litchfield was a retired Lab Technician from Murray State University; and was a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Litchfield.
Survivors include a niece, Patricia Cunningham of Cadiz; and a great-niece, Kim Burkeen of Cadiz.
Serving as pallbearers were Bobby Prescott, Bob Lester, Sonny Litchfield, Dr. David Freeman, Ben Burkeen, and Waymon Cunningham.
