On Saturday, August 27, 2005, Melinda Oiler became the bride of Adam Johnson at 4 p.m., at the Little River Baptist Church in Herndon.

Bro. Earl Grace officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Betty Oiler, and Mark and Linda Oiler, all of Cadiz.

Grandparents of the bride are the late John Sr., and Marie Oiler, and the late Lamont and Ada Grable, all of Ohio.

The groom is the son of Dwayne Johnson of Hopkinsville, and Dale and Dawn Pope of Cadiz.

Grandparents of the groom are William and Jeannine Johnson of Hopkinsville, and Roger and Elsie Schliessman of Spring Hill, Fla.

The bride chose her sister-in-law, Tacy Oiler of Cadiz, to be her Matron of Honor.

Holly Page, Cadiz, and Amy Mullins, Hopkinsville, both friends of the bride, served as Bridesmaids.

The groom chose his brother, James Johnson of Hopkinsville, to be his Best Man.

Groomsmen were Benji Parker and Larry Mullins, Jr., both of Hopkinsville, and both friends of the groom.

The Flower Girl was Cheyenne Mullins.

Ringbearer and Candlelighters were Austin Johnson, Dalton Johnson, and Dustin Johnson, sons of the groom.

The Guest Register was kept by Julianna Pope, sister of the groom.

Songs included Me and You, and From This Moment.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the church.

The couple is residing in Hopkinsville.
