Hospital board members met in the parking lot behind the Courthouse Annex after city and county officials failed to appear.
The meeting, however, was held in a back parking lot after city and county officials failed to appear.
Hospital Administrator Lisa Coleman was to present a pamphlet of information to the officials informing them of where the hospital has come since Quorum Health Resources (QHR) has taken the management reigns of the hospital and where it intends to go over the next three years.
“In the first five months of this fiscal year, we have already done more than in 2004,” Coleman said in the parking lot.
Board Chairman Dr. Mike Gross said he had spoke with Judge Executive Berlin Moore Wednesday and asked if he needed to remind him of the meeting, however Gross said Moore responded that he did not.
