Elysia Brown hit five free throws in overtime to help lead the Lady Midcats to a 34-33 win over Lyon County Nov. 1 at Midcat Gym.
Brown led the Midcats with nine points, while G’teria Acree scored eight points, Audrey Futrell scored six, and Brooke Allen had five.
The game was tied at ten at halftime and led by one after three quarters before Lyon County tied the game at 28-28 after regulation.
Nine different players scored for Trigg County in their 36-12 win at St. Peter and Paul Middle School Nov. 3 in Hopkinsville.
Trigg led 19-10 at halftime and outscored their opponent 17-2 in the second half.
Brooke Allen led Trigg with eight points, while G’teria Acree added seven, Elysia Brown five, and Brooke Kearney scored four points.

Brown scored 12 of Trigg’s 16 points in the fourth quarter as the Lady Midcats overcame an 11-9 deficit after three quarters.
