The Rev. Dr. Tom Martin officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Dwelis died on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 7:59 a.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz of natural causes.
Mrs. Dwelis was born on October 21, 1914, in Chicago, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mable Nojd.
Mrs. Dwelis was retired as a bookkeeper for Fox Lake Lumber Company in Fox Lake, Ill.; was a member of Cadiz Christian Church, where she was a member of Christian Women’s Fellowship; member of Odd Fellow Rebecca; Wallonia Homemakers, and Trigg County Hospital Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Dwelis; daughter, Marlene Jensen; great-grandson, Matthew Hogan, and brother, Gordon Nojd.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frank Dwelis of Cadiz; daughter-in-law, Dolores Dwelis of Cadiz; grandchildren, Denise and Ray Morehouse, Diane Hogan, Kathy and Ed Janik, and Glenn and Angela Jensen.
Serving as pallbearers were Ed Janik, Raymond Morehouse, Jacob Janik, Brett Morehouse, Glenn Jensen, and Paul Churchill.
