Mr. McCain died on Sunday, November 6, 2005, at 5:15 p.m., at his residence of an apparent suicide.
Mr. McCain was born on June 6, 1962, in Pembroke. He was the son of Carl Duwain and Opal Joyce Combs McCain of Cadiz.
Mr. McCain worked with Hinkle Contracting Corporation.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Mary Bee McCain of Hopkinsville; three daughters, Daphne Rochell Burkhead, and Tami Chemiz McCain, both of Aransas Pass, TX, and Elizabith Blanch McCain of Christian County; one step-daughter, Diedra Bickell Clark of Christian County; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Duwain McCain of Cadiz, James Glenn McCain, Richard Dale and Loretta McCain, all of Christian County, Donnie Lynn and Patsy McCain of Winnie, TX, Mark Edward and Leslie McCain of Batson, TX, and Keith and Lynn McCain of Baton Rouge, La.; seven sisters, and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Jackie Owens, Mona and Larry Polete, Patty McCain, Sue and Tony Miller, all of Christian County, Judy McCoy of Devine, TX, Rosemary and Tony Hawkins of Hopkinsville, and Carla and Ron Bouin of Baton Rouge, La.; and one step-grandson.
