Rev. Norman Cotton officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg memory Acres in Cadiz.
Mrs. Bryant died on Thursday, December 8, 2005, at 2:30 p.m., at her residence, of natural causes.
Mrs. Bryant was born on March 12, 1920, in Golden Pond, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Eulis O. Sumner, and Cordie Rene Futrell Broadbent.
Mrs. Bryant was retired as a private sitter; was a homemaker; and was a member of South Union Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce “Hicks†Bryant in 1973.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Bobby Gillum of Big Rock, Tenn., and Tracey and Norman Cotton of Cadiz; two brothers, Wilmer Sumner and Billy E. Sumner, both of Cadiz; two sisters, Iva Jane Lowery of Benton, and Marie Parker of Cadiz; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Randall Gillum, Scott Stafford, Bryce Cotton, Matt Cunningham, Doug Sanders, and David Sumner.
Music was provided by Scott Stafford, pianist, and Justin Reynolds, vocalist.
