Funeral services for Carl W. Flynn, 72, of Princeton, were conducted on Friday, February 10, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Chaplain Sam Beeny officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with Military Graveside Rites.

Mr. Flynn died on Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at 11:30 p.m., at the Western Kentucky Veteran’s Center in Hanson, following a long illness.

Mr. Flynn was born on May 24, 1933, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late H.A. and Katie Oliver Flynn.

Mr. Flynn was a U.S. Army veteran; a retired clerk from ICGRR; and a member of the VFW.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Rhonda Flynn of Caldwell County, and Joe Flynn of Princeton; five grandchildren, Josh Flynn, Tanner Flynn, Taylor Flynn, Jason Flynn, and Julie Flynn; two step-grandchildren, Ryan Reed and Destiny Gilliam; a brother, Albert “Happy” Flynn of Princeton; and a sister, Ruby Grant of Christian County.
