Graveside services for Aylene Tosh Buchanan, 92, of Louisville, formerly of Princeton, were conducted on Sunday, February 19, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Fredonia Cemetery.

Mrs. Buchanan died on Thursday, February 16, 2006, at the Rockford Manor Nursing Home in Louisville.

Mrs. Buchanan was born on June 5, 1913, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late John and Maggie Hillyard Tosh.

Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church for 36 years; and a member of the Leisure Club at the church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Buchanan; and a son, Jack Buchanan.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John “Buck” and Linda Buchanan of Louisville; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Lee and Gene Dowell of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Doris Buchanan, of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Karen, David, Jeanette, Jodie, Scott, Kristin, Kamaron, and Carrie; and 16 great-grandchildren.
