Funeral services for Mary Ann Hodge, 52, of Cadiz, will be conducted on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at 11 a.m., at King’s Funeral Home.

Pastor Geoff Baggett will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Mrs. Hodge arrived in Heaven by God’s Saving Grace on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at 5:40 p.m., at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following a battle with cancer.

Mrs. Hodge was born on May 25, 1953, in Hammond, Ind. She was the daughter of Richard G. Gross of Venice, Fla., and the late Florence Jayne Kasten Iafrate.

Mrs. Hodge was co-owner of Hodge Construction; and a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church, where she was very active in mission work.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Philip Michael Whisler.

Survivors, in addition to her father, include her husband of 22 years, Gary D. Hodge of Cadiz; son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren: Donald Wayne and Theresa Whisler, Ashley Marie and Emily Grace of Denver, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren; Stephanie Ralston-Miskell and Jason Miskell, Brendan Alec, Preston Riley and Kaya Jayne, all of Cadiz; four step-daughters and sons-in-law and step-grandchildren and step-great grandson: Kathy Lynn and Bill Bailey, Mark, Michael and Anna of Colorado Springs, Col., Tammy Sue Hodge and Chris, Ryan, Nickolas, Sarah and Dominic of Colorado Springs, Col., Beth Ann Hodge, Jonathon, Brianna and Alexis of Sacramento, Calif.; and Amy Marie and Jason Elcik, Chantel and DeSean of Colorado Springs, Col.; God Parents, Bill and Helen Whisler of Cadiz; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Isabela Gross, and James and Aida Gross, all of Hollywood, Fla.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Jenkins and Patricia and Rick Ashcraft, all of Cedar Lake, Ind., and Suzanne and Dale Kassee of Boise, Idaho.

Robin Stevens, pianist, and the Crossroads Fellowship Praise Team will provide the music.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donald Whisler, James Gross, Bill Jenkins, Doug Bumann, Bill Gatti, Jason Miskell, and Bill Whisler.
