Funeral services for George Egbert, 54, of Caldwell County, were conducted on Thursday, March 2, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Willard Walls officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Military Rites.

Mr. Egbert died on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 5:30 p.m., at his residence of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Egbert was born on March 4, 1951, in Caldwell County. He was the son of Albert Mart Egbert, and the late Ruby Nell Teague Egbert.

Mr. Egbert was at factory worker, Freudenburg; and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include a son, Michael Egbert of Princeton; a grandson, Harlee Egbert; a step-granddaughter, Josefina Torres; a brother, Mart Lee Egbert of Caldwell County; four sisters, Judith Ann Heid, Diann Egbert, and Brenda Sherman, all of Dawson Springs, and Martha Mae Moore of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
