Rev. Cliff Jones officiated at the services. Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Boaz died on Monday, March 6, 2006, at 11:45 p.m., at the Princeton Health Care Manor following a long illness.
Mr. Boaz was born on July 25, 1915, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Evie and Emmie Lester Boaz.
Mr. Boaz was a retired Restaurant Owner; was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII; was a member of First Christian Church; member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Margrey Lee Clayton Boaz; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry “Sandy” and Judy Boaz, and Steve and Carolyn Boaz, all of Princeton, and Kenny and Mary Boaz of Paducah; a daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ann and Craig Brown of Madisonville; seven grandchildren, Clayton Boaz, Lee Conger, Bethany Rogers, Austin Boaz, Molly Boaz, John Ross Boaz, and Victoria Brown; a great-grandchild, Landi Rogers; a sister, Floris Kemp of Marshall, Mich.; a niece, Patsy Franklin of Princeton; and several other nieces and nephews.
