Funeral services for Bruce Edward Henry, 55, of Hopkinsville, formerly of Cadiz, were conducted on Friday, April 7, 2006, at 11 a.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Kevin Roberts officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.

Mr. Henry died on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at 5:15 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mr. Henry was born on February 22, 1951, in Christopher, Ill. He was the son of Darlene Sherbit of Cadiz, and the late Bob Henry.

Mr. Henry was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church; and was a member of Multiple Sclerosis Society.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Henry; and a son, Heath Edward Henry.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Darlene and Gilbert Sherbit of Cadiz; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tiffany Henry of Orlando, Fla.; two brothers and sister-in-law, Randy Henry of Sparta, Ill., and John and Kelly Sherbit of Wheatfield, Ind.; two sisters and brother-in-law, Brenda and Sam Noojin and Linda Pote, all of Hammond, Ind.; aunt and uncle, Roberta and Clyde Miller of Holiday, Texas, and aunt and uncle Charlotte and George Evilsizer of Heron, Ill.

Serving as pallbearers were Shawn Thompson, Bailey Oliver, Jason Keller, Jason Hargis, Steven Tyler, Tom Simmons, Freddie McFarland, and Tracey Groves.

Dick Stanhouse, vocalist, and Gary Thompson, organist provided the music.
