Jessie Leigh Cherry and Jason Todd Burcham, both of Cadiz, were united in marriage on Saturday, October 8, 2005, at 5:30 p.m., at Locust Grove Baptist Church near Gracey.

The bride is the daughter of Melissa Cherry of Hopkinsville, and Kenneth Cherry of Cadiz.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Burcham of Cadiz.

John Hagen officiated at the ceremony. Nuptial music was provided by Jeannie Beck of Hopkinsville, pianist, and Sherry Franklin, of Hopkinsville and Lee Ellen Joiner of Elton, vocalists. Selections included, “Wind Beneath My wings,” “From This Moment,” and “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Steven Hargis assisted at the ceremony. Anna Allen and Bridgett Linton of Cadiz, kept the guest register.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, was escorted by her mother.

The bride chose Jamie Williams of Cadiz to be her Matron of Honor.

Flowergirl was the bridegroom’s niece, Aubrey Burcham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Burcham of Cadiz.

The bridegroom chose Mark Pool of Cadiz to be his best man.

Ushers were the bridegroom’s brothers, Shannon Burcham and Derek Burcham, both of Cadiz.

Ringbearer was the bridegroom’s nephew, Caden Burcham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon Burcham.

The bride’s mother served as hostess of a reception in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the ceremony.

Angie Wilson, Sandra Oakley, and Bridgett Linton, all of Cadiz, assisted at the reception.

The bride is a student of Hopkinsville Community College, pursuing a degree in nursing. The bridegroom is employed by Ricky Jones Construction in Cadiz.

The couple resides in Cadiz.
