Mrs. Thomas was born on May 2, 1911. She was the daughter of the late Jack C. and Mary Jane Elswick Charles of Big Rock, Va.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howell Moore “Billy” Thomas, who was from Trigg County. They were married on August 6, 1932. They had no children.
Many relatives including her late husband’s parents are buried in Bethel Cemetery in Trigg County.
