Rev. Bradley Cornelius officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thomas died on Saturday, June 17, 2006, at 3:47 p.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Thomas was born on March 9, 1932, in Trigg Country. She was the daughter of the late Homer B. and Thula Nunn Shelton.
Mrs. Thomas was a retired registered nurse; and was a member of Gracey West Union Baptist church.
Survivors include her husband, Aubrey Glenn Thomas; a son, Richard Glenn Thomas of Houston, Texas; a brother, Fred Shelton of Trigg County; and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the West Union Baptist Church or to Pennyroyal Hospice.
