Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiated at the services. Burial followed in Rowland Cemetery.
Mrs. Cortner died on Sunday, June 18, 2006, at 6 p.m., at Caldwell County Hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Cortner was born on May 23, 1917, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Ruby Harris Paris.
Mrs. Cortner was a retired inspector for Cumberland Manufacturing; and was a member of White Sulphur Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Cortner; and a sister, Madalyn Andrews.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles Paris of Altus, Okla., and James Paris of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
