Rev. Ernie Clifford officiated at the services. Burial followed in Fredonia Cemetery.
Mr. Myers died on Thursday, June 29, 2006, at 11:58 p.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.
Mr. Myers was born on October 15, 1931, in Crittenden County. He was the son of the late Jesse and Pearl Allen Myers.
Mr. Myers was a retired Plant Operator at Fredonia Valley Quarry; and was a member of Fredonia Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Randall Myers, Cotton Myers, Gilbert Myers, and Edwin Greer; and three sisters, Martha Belt, Jane Barnett, and Mary Lou Gerrard.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Imogene Lynch Myers; a daughter, Marsha Burkeen of Marion; a granddaughter, Tiffany Burkeen of Marion; a sister, Vemetta Brown of Fredonia; and several nieces and nephews.
