Funeral services for William “Butch” Sumner, 51, of Cadiz, were conducted on Sunday, July 16, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. David Ray Futrell officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.

Mr. Sumner died on Thursday, July 13, 2006, at 6:05 a.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mr. Sumner was born on October 15, 1954, in Ft. Campbell. He was the son of Billy Earl and June Dunn Sumner of Cadiz.

Mr. Sumner was a member of Living Waters Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, James Sumner, William Sumner, and David Sumner, all of Cadiz.

Serving as pallbearers were Brien Foster, Jeff Kellogg, Barry Brewer, Melvin Brewer, Bob Crossett, and Tim King.
