“This funding will allow the 80,000 annual visitors to the Land Between the Lakes to further enjoy their visit to one of our state’s great scenic treasures,” Fletcher said in a press release. “This is just another step in our efforts to make Kentucky an even better place to live, work and visit.”
$50,000 will go to maintaining the North/South trail, which is 65 miles long. $25,000 will go to hardening and stabilizing a creek crossing on the Turkey Bay Trails, while the other $25,000 will go to routine maintenance of the trails, which total about 100 miles in distance.
