Mr. Ladd died on Sunday, July 23, 2006, in Riverside, Calif., following a battle with cancer.
Mr. Ladd was born on February 29, 1920, in Cerulean. He was the son of the late Dryscal and Lucille Turner Ladd.
Mr. Ladd was a retired U.S. Navy veteran; and lived in Garden Grove, Calif., for 61 years.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Virginia Ladd; two daughters, Muriel Lynn Outram and Gloria Jeanne Skinner; a son, John W. Ladd; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
