Funeral services for Kenneth E. Weaver, 71, of Cadiz, were conducted on Monday, August 21, 2006, at 11:30 a.m., at Faith Chapel South, Pensacola, Fla., with burial following in Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS, in Pensacola.

Mr. Weaver died on Monday, August 14, 2006, at 4 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Mr. Weaver was born in Escambia County, Fla. He was the son of the late Ralph and Anna Weaver.

Mr. Weaver was a U.S. Air Force Veteran; was a former employee of Fade Auto Parts; and was a member of Elks Lodge #2180.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Jewel Weaver of Cadiz; a son, Kenneth Allen Weaver of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a step-daughter, Linda Merideth of Cadiz; two brothers, Richard “Skip” Weaver and Ralph “Sonny” Weaver, both of Pensacola; a sister, Sharon Kaywood of Valdosta, Geo.; a step-brother, Robert Beck of Pensacola; and two grandchildren, Christopher Weaver and Sarina Weaver of Elizabeth City, N.C.
