Nadine Marie Brooks Gleason, 77 years, 11 months, and three days old, died on Sunday, August 20, 2006, at 7:21 a.m., following a battle with cancer.

Mrs. Gleason requested that her body be donated to Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, to help provide excellent educational experiences for students in health related areas in study. Following the donation process, cremation will occur and her ashes and remains will be placed in the Family Burial Plot in the Ronan Cemetery in Lake County, Ronan, Montana.

Mrs. Gleason was born on September 17, 1928, in Lake County, Ronan, Montana. She was the daughter of the late James Lester and Clara Margaret Olson Brooks.

Mrs. Gleason graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1946. She married Glenn Vernon Johnson from Indiana, and later divorced. She then married her second husband, Jessie James “J.B.” Boren from Trigg County, Cadiz, and later divorced; she then married her third husband, Edward J. Lee from Ronan, Montana, and later divorced. She then married her fourth husband, Ralph Michael Gleason from Butte, Montana.

Mrs. Gleason was retired, and was a homemaker, and was a member of The Assembly of God Church in Columbia Falls, Montana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Michael Gleason; two infant brothers, Rex Brooks and Lester Brooks of North Dakota; a brother, Robert Wesley Brooks of Kalispell, Montana; three sisters, Ethel Margaret Brooks Christensen of Missoula, Montana, Betty Jean Brooks McGhan of Woodland Hills, Calif., and Cathryn Henrietta “Kaye” Brooks Johnson of Lafayette, Tenn.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, James R. and Penny Boren of Livingston, Montana, Nick D. and Karla Boren of Lebanon, Oregon, and Darryl K. and Debra Boren of Kennerdell, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianna K. “Doni” Boren and Steven Mallory of Declo, Idaho.; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sharon Lee of Pablo, Montana, and Patrick and Flora Lee of Plains, Montana.; a sister, Virginia Ann Brooks Bell of Columbia Falls, Montana; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a very special friend and companion, Steve Roy Stevens of Silver Bow County, Butte, Montana.
