Rev. John Herndon will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville with Military Honors provided by the American Legion.
Mr. Meador died on Thursday, August 24, 2006, at 5:30 p.m., at Putnam County Community Medical Center in Palatka, Fla., of natural causes.
Mr. Meador was born on May 29, 1933, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Parks Wilson and Mattie Lois Herndon Meador.
Mr. Meador was retired from the U.S. Navy as Boatsman Mate, having served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam; was a member of NCOA Association; and was a member of the Julian Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Henry Meador of Hopkinsville.
Martha Fortner, pianist, provided the music.
