Mrs. Wright died on Sunday, October 1, 2006, at 4:20 a.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mrs. Wright was born on August 19, 1913, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late S.A. and Eleanor C. Hopson.
Mrs. Wright was a homemaker; a member of Henderson Memorial Baptist Church; and earlier in life, she had been a teacher in Trigg County.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, Ben Wright, Sr.; and a son, Eugene A. Wright.
Survivors include a son, Ben Wright, Jr., of Hopkinsville; and two grandchildren.
