Bro. Johnny Hall officiated at the services. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
Mr. Patterson died on Thursday, October 5, 2006, in Nashville, following a battle with cancer.
Mr. Patterson was born on June 4, 1944, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Allison T. “Pete” and Nettierene Crawford Patterson.
Mr. Patterson was in the heating and air conditioning maintenance business, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Patterson; son and daughter-in-law, John W. Jr., and Janice Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa Patterson and Ed Mills, and Susan and Kendall Tucker; two step-sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Jackson and Eric and Jodi Jackson; eight grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, A.C. and Wali Patterson of Tongonoxie, Kansas, and Mike and Lynn Patterson of Cadiz.
Serving as pallbearers were A.C. Patterson, Mike Patterson, Scott Jackson, Eric Jackson, Leonard Walker, Danny Jones, Ali Patterson, and Phil Patterson.
Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Gray, Kendall Tucker, Edward Mills, and Terry Lyon.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
