The Trigg County Hospital Board of Directors met last Thursday for a brief session to amend bylaws and approve the purchase of two pieces of equipment for the upgraded paramedic service.

Hospital Board President Dr. Michael Gross and Hospital CEO Lisa Coleman were required by hospital bylaws to present the county fiscal court with a report during this month. Despite the requirement, the hospital’s audited financial statement was incomplete and was unavailable for the meeting. The fiscal court allowed the hospital to reschedule when the report was ready.

Coleman said that the hospital’s bylaws were amended to state that the hospital would be required to hold the annual meeting with the county 30 days after the audited financial statement was received and approved by the board.
