Bro. John Reilly officiated at the services. Burial followed in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
Mrs. Sears died on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at 2:20 p.m., at the Princeton Health Care Manor.
Mrs. Sears was born on November 21, 1919, in Paducah. She was the daughter of the late Athel, Sr., and Lora Vaughn Shepherd.
Mrs. Sears was a homemaker and a member of Ogden Memorial United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Sears.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Luisa Sears of Princeton; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzy and Ed Meisenheimer of Naperville, Ill.; five grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Toby and Murphy Meisenheimer, Andy and Mandy Meisenheimer, Tim and Jenn Meisenheimer, Dean Sears, and Duane Sears; two great-grandchildren, Caedman Meisenheimer and Barrett Meisenheimer; a brother and sister-in-law, Athel, Jr. and Jean Shepherd of West Paducah; a sister, Jean Long of Houston, Texas; a cousin, Billie Clark; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Toby Meisenheimer, David Shaffer, Tim Meisenheimer, Dean Sears, Duane Sears, and Duane Miksch.
