Funeral services for Bobby C. Vickery, 64, of the Cedar Bluff Community in Caldwell County, were conducted on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. J.R. Bruce officiated at the services. Burial followed in McKnight Cemetery in Christian County.

Mr. Vickery died on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at 6:24 a.m., in Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.

Mr. Vickery was born on July 7, 1942, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Edward Samson and Annie Sophie McCormick Vickery.

Mr. Vickery was a retired custodian at Kentucky Tech Vocational School, and was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Adams Vickery.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Vickery of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Bobbi Davidson of Hopkinsville; two grandchildren, Cameron Davidson and Deanna Davidson; three brothers, Buddy Vickery and Carl Vickery, both of Caldwell County, and Tony Vickery of Matheson, Miss.; two sisters, Imogene Ward of Evansville, Ind., and Frances Hanks of Calvert City; three step sons, Dennis Parker and Myron Parker, both of Christian County, and Aldin Parker of Hopkins County; three step daughters, Edna Cannon, and Glenda Robertson, both of Cadiz, and Ivyal Neisz of Hopkins County; several step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
