Funeral services for Gorden McGough, 76, of Princeton, were conducted on Friday, December 15, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Bro. Phillip Cook, assisted by Bro. Kevin Cook and Bro. Richard Sisk officiated at the services.

Mr. McGough died on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 2:45 p.m., at the Princeton Health Care Manor following a long illness.

Mr. McGough was born on August 7, 1930, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Leslie C. and Happy Dollie Henson McGough.

Mr. McGough was a retired truck driver with the Coleman Auto Parts, and was a member of the Praise Temple in Madisonville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Lee Cunningham McGough in October 1998.

Survivors include a son, Gorden McGough, Jr., of Princeton; three daughters, Kathy Ann Sims of Princeton, Judy Lynn Ashlock of Dawson Springs, and Deloris Jean Williams of Madisonville; a brother, Carmel McGough of Princeton; three sisters, Myrtle McGough of Tupelo, Miss, Linda Alexander of Marshall County, and Vivian Walker of Eddyville; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
