Funeral services for Lonnie Cooper, 53, of Princeton, were conducted on Tuesday, December 19, 2006, at 2:30 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Richie McKinney officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Eddy Creek Church Cemetery.

Mr. Cooper died on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at 8:50 a.m., at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, following a long illness..

Mr. Cooper was born on July 5, 1953, in Caldwell County. He was the son of Mildred Frances Patterson Cooper, and the late Eugene Cooper.

Mr. Cooper was a laborer at Cedar Hill Cemetery, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Clarence Cooper of Princeton, James Cooper and Elvis “Cookie” Cooper, both of Caldwell County; a sister, Sue Merrick of Caldwell County; and several nieces and nephews,
