Rev Greg Giltner officiated at the services. Burial followed in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville.
Ms. Wade died at the Christian Health Center at 2:25 a.m., on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, of natural causes.
Ms. Wade was born on February 12, 1927, in Hopkins County. She was the daughter of the late William Marion and Mabel Catherine Morris Wade.
Ms. Wade was retired from the Printing House for the Blind in Louisville, and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hopkinsville.
Survivors include a brother, J.D. Wade of Julien; a sister, Billie Gilliland of Hopkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Wade, Nathan Wade, Ricky Gilliland, Tony Jones, Mark Gilliland, and Mark Lindsey.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice or to the Gideon International.
