Rev. Barry Cullen officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Holeman died on Saturday, February 17, 2007, at 7:24 a.m., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville of natural causes.
Mr. Holeman was born on November 14, 1916, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Joe and Matilda P’Pool Holeman.
Mr. Holeman was retired from the Central State Machine Company in St. Louis, Mo.; was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served during WWII; and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Gray Holeman; three brothers, Magnus Holeman, Ray Holeman, and Ralph Holeman; and three sisters, Nova Cullen, Hazel Morrison, and Zena Rawlins.
Survivors include a sister, Annabell Rawlins of Dawson Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Hodgelene Gray of Cadiz; and a number of nephews and nieces.
Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Cullen, Barry Cullen, Ronnie Gray, Benny Pryor, Austin Hopson, and Steve Curtright.
