Rev. Charles Bailey officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Trenton City Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace died on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Wallace was born on April 19, 1929, in Rossiter, Pa. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Spenelli and Pearl DeFrance. She was adopted by the late Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stahl, Sr. of Trenton, and spent most of life in Todd County.
Mrs. Wallace was a housewife, and was employed for several years each at the Fort Campbell base Child Care Center, Bill Brent’s Fashions, and Lee’s Ladies Shop in Clarksville. She also taught piano in the Trigg County School System and privately; and was a member of the Laurel Bank Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and adoptive parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Malone Flack in 1970; her second husband, Millard Griffin in 1995; her brith brother, Art Spenelli; and three adoptive brothers, Chester Stahl, Jr., Ben Stahl, and John Stahl.
Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Wallace of Maryville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Malone and Judy Flack of Lexington, S.C.; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou Flack and Bill Rutledge of Williamsburg, Va.; three step-daughters, Cathy Hobbs of Mississippi, Marsha Jessup of Indiana, and Colette Schubert of Knoxville, Tenn.; a birth brother, Ed Spenelli of Michigan; and an adoptive sister, Betty Park of Trenton; five grandchildren, Brian Flack and Tiffany Crawford Riddle of Lexington, Lauren Flack of Lexington, SC, Jeff Rutledge of Apex, NC, and Lori Rutledge Kei of Prince George, Va.; as well as ten great-grandchildren.
