Eugene Springer officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. Wadlington died on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 4:10 a.m., at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa of natural causes.
Mrs. Wadlington was born on March 7, 1918, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Felix Grundy and Elsie L. Gardner Mitchell.
Mrs. Wadlington was a homemaker, and a member of the Cadiz Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Wadlington; four sisters, Alice Wadlington, Effie Stewart, Betty Devine, and Birdie Weaver; and a grandchild, P.J. Croom.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Ruth Wadlington of Cadiz; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lindah and Bob Winstead of Cadiz, and Agnes and Wayne Davis of Hopkinsville; a brother, Amos Gardner of Russellville; a sister, Sudie Lemmons of Cadiz; grandchildren, Laura Croom, Tim Wadlington, Ernie Wadlington, Jason Major, Charles Major, Amanda Bogard, and Ben Davis; great-grandchildren, Wesley Croom, Josh Wadlington, Jacob Wadlington, Cayley Wadlington, Derek Wadlington, Caleb Wadlington, Katie Wadlington, Dalton Major, and Jada Major.
Serving as pallbearers were Charles Major, Jason Major, Tim Wadlington, Ernie Wadlington, Ben Davis, Wes Croom, Josh Wadlington, and Jacob Wadlington.
