Dawson and Stone exchange vows on New Year’s Eve

Leslie Carol Dawson and Timothy Allen Stone, Jr., both of Herndon, exchanged wedding vows on Sunday, December 31, 2006, at 2 p.m., at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Cadiz.

Rev. Irvin Darnall officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Carolyn Dawson of Cadiz, and Bo Stewart of Hopkinsville.

Grandparents of the bride are Fannie Dawson Herndon and the late Robert Dawson.

The groom is the son of Timothy Stone, Sr., of Cadiz, and Kathy McCluskey Stone of Madisonville.

Grandparents of the groom are the late Jim and Betty Stone of Cadiz.

The bride chose her sister, Kimberly Dawson of Cadiz, to be her Maid of Honor.

The bride chose a long “Formal Wear” purple dress to wear. Her bouquet was of purple carnations, purple roses, baby’s breath, and white carnations.

The groom chose his brother, Larry Stone of Hopkinsville, to serve as his Best Man.

Autumn Stone, daughter of the bride and groom, served as Flower Girl.

Aaron Dawson, son of the bride and groom, served as Ringbearer.

Wedding songs were played from a CD: Look at Us (Vince Gill); Endless Love (Bryan White); The Wedding Songs; and Red On A Rose (Alan Jackson).

A reception followed the ceremony in the Church’s Fellowship Hall.

The Bride and Groom’s cake was a three-tiered cake with purple and pink roses made by Wal-Mart.

The couple is making their home in Herndon.
