“I love it. The renovations are great,” said Primary Care Physician Dr. Catherine Galla of the project estimated to have cost between $113,000-$118,000.
Galla shares the office with Nurse-Practitioner Mary James. Though a specialist in internal medicine, Galla said that she sees cases from all walks of life. “Mostly we see internal medicine cases, but we do pediatrics and see women for gynecological work. “
The new facility features six examination rooms, with three for the physician and three for James. A room on each side of the clinic is dedicated to the youngest patients with murals and toys to put a nervous young patient at ease.
The clinic offers expanded hours to fit the schedules of working citizens of Trigg County. “I am here until 6 p.m. for people who work late to come in and be seen. Mary James is here at 7 a.m., so people can be seen before work or school,” said Galla.
