Rotarians expect the room to be filled to capacity on Friday, when the final night of the auction takes place. Although the hours are from 7 to 10 p.m. every night this week, Friday will likely be a long night.
Rotary member Dick Friend said Monday night was a bit slower than usual, but said things would get pretty wild before the week was over and people show up in droves and compete to outbid each other. Friend said he used to be a Rotarian in Paducah, but that there’s no comparison to the Cadiz club.
