A private funeral and burial for Donald R. Light, 66, of Clarkridge, Ark., were held. He passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007, in Mountain Home, Ark. He was cremated on March 27.

Mr. Light was born on May 16, 1940, in Flint, Mich. He was the son of the late Robert V. and Margaret Denison Light.

Mr. Light graduated from St. Michael’s High School in Flint in 1958; served in the U.S. Naval Air Force from 1958-1966 as an aircrewman; worked for the FAA and retired with 31 years of service as an air traffic controller, retiring in 1991 from the Milwaukee Tower; and was of the Catholic Faith.

Following his retirement, he and his wife, Ellen, moved to Cadiz, Kentucky, and resided from June 1991 thru August 1997, then relocated to Ark., and lived there until he was called Home.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Ellen Light; a son, Jeff Light; two daughters, Lisa Light and Renee Martin; five grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Light; and three sisters, Barbara Light, Debra Christensen, and Margaret Ann Pena.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Light.
