Funeral services for Dr. Frank P. Giannini, 91, of Princeton, will be conducted on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Don Pippen and Bridgie Miller will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Dr. Giannini died on Sunday, April 15, 2007, at 9:08 a.m., at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.

Dr. Giannini was born on July 18, 1915, in Dawson Springs. He was the son of the late Frank Pike Giannini, Sr., and Lillian Wilkey Giannini Hobgood.

Dr. Giannini was a physician, and was a member of Blue Spring Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Thomas Giannini and William Wilkey Giannini; and a sister, Sue Giannini.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Nettie Hart Mitchell Giannini; three sons and daughters-in-law, Frank, III, and Hazel Giannini of Caldwell County, J. Thomas, MD, and Cindy Giannini, of Canton, and J. Michael, MD, and Charlotte Giannini of Paducah; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Susan Mitchell of Lyon County, Harvey W and Cindy Mitchell of Harrodsburg, and John R. Mitchell of Caldwell County; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and John Fourshee of Cadiz; nine step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
